Ilaria Fiore
I was born and raised in Naples. Since I was a child, I've been attracted to mysterious stories and my innate curiosity made me ask always why things are the way they are. When I was in high school, I had a soft spot for my Latin and Greek teacher, this is why finally I decided to throw myself in the magical world of archaeology that put me back in touch with my roots. Speaking briefly of my professional career, I have a degree in Classical Literature and Archaeology. After graduation, to top it all off, I applied to the School of Specialization in Archaeology of Rome, completing then my training with an intership in Museology and a Master-Degree in Digital Technologies Applied to the Cultural Heritage. During my university study course, I took part in numerous excavations in Italy and Egypt, working at the same time as contributor for many scientific magazines. Over the last few years, I was involved in educational and cultural events, finally using my know-how in the tourism sector. Currently I'm working as tour guide and archaeologist in Campania, as well as collaborating in educational projects for secondary schools.
