CLOISTERS AND CASTLES
The Cartherhouse of St. Martin,The Certosa di San Martino, an ancient monastic complex built in the fourteenth century by the son of King Robert of Anjou in front of the Sant'Elmo Castle, is one of the symbols of Naples. Walking through the cloisters and the spaces for worship, you reach the terrace overlooking the sea to admire a splendid view. The guided tour includes the Crib Section, one of the most representative of this unique form of Neapolitan art, the Carriage Corridor and the beautiful baroque church. We will continue our tour going into the imposing Sant'Elmo Castle, built entirely in tuff with a characteristic star-shaped plant.
