A journey to discover the history of Naples and the Angevin dynasty through its beautiful churches. The itinerary will start from Piazza del Gesù, to visit the Church of Santa Chiara, one of the most important buildings of the Angevin dynasty whose majolica cloister is among the most beautiful places in the city. From here we will arrive at the complex of S. Domenico, built in 1283 by Charles II of Anjou in pure Gothic style to accommodate the Dominicans; the itinerary will end in S. Lorenzo Maggiore, an ancient Gothic church founded on an earlier early Christian basilica.
