The ancient city of Herculaneum was a resort for the elite of the time, built on a promontory overlooking the Gulf of Naples. Founded according to the myth by the hero Hercules, it was home to patrician residences finely decorated with frescoes and mosaics still partly intact. The guided tour begins at the ancient beach, where excavations have unearthed the bodies of about 300 victims, to continue inside the walls, where we will visit some of the most beautiful domus, but also shops, spas, temples and the Gymnasium. Along the way, we will see organic wooden remains that have come down to us because preserved from the lava flow.

The ancient Roman city of Oplontis is known thanks to the so-called Villa of Poppea, the largest Roman suburban villa owned by the second wife of Emperor Nero. The guided tour begins in the beautiful garden, shaded by the same trees of the time, replanted after obtaining plaster casts of the charred roots. The route continues through the many rooms of the imperial residence, equipped with a private spa and a large swimming pool surrounded by olive trees. Walking through the arcades, you can admire the many finely decorated rooms with frescoes depicting still lifes and mythological scenes.
