ONE DAY AS A ROMAN

Tragically buried during the terrible eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD, Pompeii and the other Vesuvian cities were rediscovered only at the beginning of 1700 by the will of Charles of Bourbon, King of Naples. A journey back in time to the Roman age.

RUINS OF POMPEII

Pompei001

Founded at the end of VII BC, it was a large commercial city at the center of important Mediterranean traffic, as it is still possible to understand walking through its streets. We will cross the city from the amphitheater to the forum, among temples, workshops, spas and rich domus decorated with beautiful frescoes and mosaics, to immerse ourselves in the daily life of the ancient Romans.

RUINS OF HERCULANEUM

Ercolano002

Built on a volcanic plateau overlooking the sea, the city owes its name to the legendary hero Hercules who founded it back from Spain. The city was embellished with important public and residential buildings, to become a luxurious resort for Roman patricians. Buried under several meters of pyroclastic flows, it has returned numerous organic finds, including wooden furniture and charred fruit, which can only be admired here.

THE VILLA OF POPPEA IN OPLONTIS
