NATIONAL ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM OF NAPLES
The National Archaeological Museum of Naples houses one of the most important collections of antiquities in the world, offering a complete picture of the Greek-Roman civilization in its various aspects. We will walk through the rooms of the museum, to visit the Farnese Collection with its monumental sculptures, the section of frescoes from Pompeii and other cities buried by Vesuvius, the section of mosaics. On request it is possible to modify the itinerary and to insert the visit to the Egyptian Section with its 2500 finds, among which mummies, amulets and papyri.
The Museum is closed on Tuesdays. Free admission for school groups, with mandatory reservation.
