The ancient Greek colony of Poseidonia was founded by Greek settlers from Sibari around 600 B.C. We will visit the archaeological area with its temples, the square intended for political and commercial activities, the amphitheater, some shops and houses. We will continue the visit in the Archaeological Museum, to retrace the history of the Greek city through the artifacts kept inside, but above all to admire the famous Tomb of the Diver dating back to 470 BC, an exceptional document for its uniqueness.
