The white walls of the Angevin Certosa dominate the city of Naples from the tufa rock hill on which it was built, and a little further the monumental Sant’ Elmo Castle. Walking through the cloisters and the religious areas, we will reach the terrace overlooking the sea with a breathtaking panoramic view. The visit includes the section with the nativity scenes, one of the most representative of this unique Neapolitan form of art, the naval section, the corridor of Carriages and the beautiful baroque church. From the square in front of the Certosa we will go down to via Toledo across the Pedamentina, one of the most famous stairways of Naples with a panoramic view on the gulf, to end our guided tour in the Spanish Quarters decorated with murals of contemporary artists, in a typical neapolitan atmosphere.

Tour Duration: 3 hours.

Cost of the guided tour: write to info@svelaria.com. The ticket to the Certosa is not included.
